25. When the fever, and along with it the headache, persists for more than twenty-four hours, this illness is called *harink‘* [rheum/catarrhal fever], or *varts‘aw*.
24. If this illness persists for even longer than twenty-four hours, remaining in one and the same condition, and continues still in the same state thereafter, then it will be all the more confirmed that this illness is *harink‘* or *varts‘aw*. But we must not immediately insist that it is true *harink‘*; rather, with great solicitude we should examine the patient's symptoms and administer medicine suited to the illness, as is written below.

25 Երբ տաքութիւնը և Հետն էլ գլխի ցաւիլը երկարի քսան ու չորս ժամիցն աւելի, էս Հիւանդութիւնը կոչվում` է Հարինք, կամ` վարցաւ : 24. Եթէ քսան ու չորս ժամիցն էլ աւելի երկարի էս Հիւանդութիւնը մի և նոյն դրութեան մէջը մնալով, և նրանից յետոյ էլի նոյն վիճակումը երկարտևէ , էն ժամանակը էս Հիւանդութիւնը Հարինք, կամ` վարցաւ ըլիլն առաւել կը- Հաստատուի. բայց իսկոյն չ'պէտք է պնդենք թէ ճշմարիտ Հա- րինք է, այլ՝ մեծ սրտացաւութենով քննենք Հիւանդի նշան- ները և Հիւանդութեան յարմար դեղ անենք, ինչպէս որ ներ- քևը գրած է :
