զգում է կերակրիցը զզուիլ մանաւանդ մսիցը. բխկալիս վատ Հոտ է գալի բերանիցը, գլուխը պտուտ է գալի, լեզուն ըլում է մաղասով պատած, և բերնի Համը դառը. գիշերը քրտնում է և սրտով ուզում է խմել կամ` ուտել թթուաշ բաներ : 102. Էս Հիւանդութենի օգտակար և սովորական դեղն է տաք ջուրը շուտ շուտ և բաւականաչափ խմացնել Հիւանդին սրտի խառնուելու ժամանակը. սրանով ստամոքսումն մօտ է. լած թանձր մաղասը կ’նոսրանայ, Հեշտ կ'բանայնէ բերնիցը, և շուտ կիստակուի : Եթէ էս Հնարքը չօգնէ և ստամոքսը չիս- տակուի, կամ` թէ տաք ջրի գործ ածելուց յետոյ Հիւանդը էլի զգայ սրտի խառնուիլ, կերակրիցը զզուիլ և բերնի դառ- նութիւն, էն ժամանակը տուր բերանիցը փսխացնելու դեղ Հա- մարաւ 1, կամ` 2 և կամ` 3 : Բանացնելուց յետոյ Հիւանդին խմացրու դեղ Համարաւ 35, և զգուշացրու ծանր և դժուա- րամարս կերակուր ուտելուց մինչև որ ստամոքսը լաւ ամրանայ :

105. Thus is called that illness which causeth mucus [or phlegm] to be discharged from the mouth and at the same and same time causeth looseness of the belly [diarrhea]. 104. The principal symptoms of this illness are these: the belly swelleth with wind, [the patient] belcheth frequently, the heart is disturbed [with nausea], it causeth vomiting from the mouth and likewise purgeth the belly. The stomach and the eyes do ache, [the patient] frequently passeth wind; that which is evacuated from the belly is of a whitish color, or yellow, or black, or green; the pulse of the arm (*namz*) beateth at first full and rapid, thereafter changeth toward gentle and weak. All the symptoms set forth above are at times so severe that even those having a robust constitution do lose their strength within a few hours. 105. In this condition, besides being tormented, the patient feeleth a heat throughout the whole body, together with an unbearable pain of the stomach accompanied by groaning; it happeneth at times that the legs grow numb.

105. Էսպէս կոչուում է էն Հիւանդութիւնը, որ բերանիցը բանացնում է մաղաս և մի և նոյն ժամանակ լուծել է տալի փորիցը : 104. Էս Հիւանդութեան գլխաւոր նշանները սրանք են : Փորը վքնումէ, շուտ շուտ բխկայնում է, սիրտը խառնուում, բերանիցը փսխել տալի և փորիցն էլ բանացնում : Ստամոքսը և աչքերը ցաւում են, շուտ շուտ փուքս է արձակում. փորիցը դուրս գնացածը ըլում է սպիտակագոյն, կամ` դեղին, կամ` սև կամ` կանաչ. բազկի երակը (նամզը) գցում է սկիզբը լիքը ու շուտ շուտ, յետոյ փոխուում է դէպի մեղմը և թոյլ: Վերևը դրած բոլոր նշանները երբեմն ըլումեն էնպէս սաստիկ. որ ա- մուր կազմուածք ունեցողներն էլ մի քանի ժամումը ուժից ընկնում են : 105.
