25. Երբ ուզում է մարմնոյ մէկ տեղումը ուռուցք դուրս գալ, Հիւանդը առաջուց զգում է ցաւ, երբեմն էնպէս սաստիկ, որ անդամները բռնուում են և չէ կարողանում շարժել. ու- նենում է սրտնեղութիւն, և երբեմն էլ դող ու տաքութիւն ։ Երբ բաւական թարախ մօտ է ըլնում, էն ժամանակը նշան- ները և ցաւը քչանում է. կամ չափաւորուում և կամ բո- լորովին անց կենում և Հիւանդը առաջին սաստիկ ցաւի տեղ զգում է միայն ծանրութիւն : 24. Էն տեղը, ինչ տեղ որ ուռուցք պիտի լուս ընկնի, պէտք է աշխատիլ, որ կակղանայ և շուտով թարախ ժողովուի. ուստի պէտք է դնել ուռուցքի վերայ կաթնով եփած կտուահատ, կամ Հացի միջուկս, կամ մոլոշի ծաղիկ, գարու ալիւրով եփած և շուտ շուտ փոխել, քանի որ սառի։ Եթէ բաւական ժամա- նակ այս դեղերով ուռուցքը չ'Հասնի կամ չ'կակղանայ և ցա- ւելոյ նշան չերևայ, էն ժամանակը վերոյիշեալ դեղորէից փո- խարէն պէտք է դնել ուռուցքի վրէն թթու խմոր մեղրով և խորոված սոխով պատրաստած, (տե՛ս Համար 88) և փոխել օրը երկու, կամ երեք անգամ, մինչև ի խոցը Հասնի և ինքն իրան պատռուի : Պատռուելուց յետոյ, պէտք է խոցը կամաց կա- մաց լաւացնել վէրքի Համար Բ. գլխումը գրուած դեղերով։

25. The gathering of pus beneath the nail, or near the nail, or within the flesh of the finger, is called *matnashunch* [whitlow/felon]. 26. The *matnashunch* ariseth from a bruise, or from a splinter, (shiver,) a needle, or a nail being thrust beneath the nail; likewise, it also happeneth from corrupt humors gathered within the body. 27. He that hath a *matnashunch* shall at the first feel a violent pain and heat; thereafter the finger shall swell, and the pain shall spread unto the neighboring parts also, and sometimes the entire arm shall be seized, even unto the shoulder-head; nor shall it pass away, until the *matnashunch* cometh to a head and bursteth open.

25. Ըղնկան տակը, կամ ըղնկից մօտիկ, կամ մատի մսի մէջը թարախի ժողովուիլը կոչուում է մատնաշունչ : 26. Մատնաշունչը գոյանում է ջարդուելուց, կամ ըղըն- կան տակը ծլէպ, (ծեղ) կամ ասեղ, կամ մեխ խրուելուց, նոյնպէս և պատահում է մարմնոյ մէջ ժողովուած ապակա- նութենից: 27. Մատնաշունչ ունեցողը առաջին անգամ կ'զգայ սաս- տիկ ցաւ և տաքութիւն, յետոյ մատը կուռչի և ցաւը մօտիկ տեղերն էլ կ'տարածուի և երբեմն ողջ ձեռը կ'բռնուի մինչև ի ուսագլուխը, և չի անց կենալ, մինչև ի մատնաշունչը չ'Հասնի և չ'բլչի :
