Take the medicine numbered 26, strain out one cupful, and mix into it one cupful of milk; administer [it] to gargle the throat frequently.

Number 29:

Take broadleaf plantain [*daraterew*], mallow [*molosh*], betony [*kestron*], and knotgrass [*matitak*], half a handful of each; place [them] in a clean vessel and pour over them ten cups [*pʻnjan*] of scalding water. When it cools, strain [it] and give [it] to drink frequently instead of water, lukewarm, and all the more so at that time when the cough comes on.

Number 30:

Take two *msxals* of camphor, scrape [it] with a knife, [and] pour [it] into olive oil or linseed oil, so that there be four spoons [of it]. Beat [them] together, place [it] in a warm spot, [and] afterward, when needed, use [it] in the manner [already] stated for rubbing on the outside.

Number 35:

Take plantain, mint, poppy [petals], [and] dried jujube, half a handful of each, and half a *mskhal* of aniseed or dill seed; place [them] in a clean vessel and pour four glasses of boiling water over them, give [it] a boil, and strain through a clean cloth. If you have a little sugar candy, mix [it in] and give [it] to the sick person to drink, once an hour, two spoons[ful]. If, during coughing, the phlegm does not come up easily and thin, at that time mix in one-fourth of a *mskhal* of sal ammoniac (*anushadr*), and have [the patient] drink it in that manner.

HEAD: Number 33:

Take half a handful of elderflower, or chamomile flower, or mint, place [it] in a clean vessel, pour four cups of boiling water over it, and cover [it]. When it cools, strain [it] through a clean cloth, and mix into it two *mïskhal*s of sal ammoniac and two spoons of good honey; give [this] to the patient to drink once every two hours, two spoons at a time, until the fever cools down.

Number 34:

Take a half-handful each of broadleaf plantain, mint, poppy, [and] dried jujube, and a half-*mesghal* of aniseed or dill seed; place [them] in a clean vessel and pour four cups of hot water over them, give [it] a boil, and strain through a clean cloth. If you have a little rock candy, mix [it] in and give [it] to the patient to drink, one time an hour, two spoons[ful]. If during coughing the phlegm does not come easily and thin, at that time mix in one-fourth of a *mesghal* of sal ammoniac, and make [the patient] drink [it] in that manner.
