Take one *ch'arek'* of fiery spirits (strong *aragh*), pour [it] into a bottle, and mix into it ten *mskhal*s of grated camphor; place [it in] a warm place [for] one day, and use this camphor *aragh* externally.

Take leavened dough [in an amount] the size of an egg yolk, mix into it three *misḵals* of chalk (white earth that tailors use), and apply [it] as [aforesaid].

Take grated camphor the size of two chickpeas, and one Spanish fly [cantharis beetle], [and] three *misqals* of sugar; pound [them] well together, make [into] powder, divide [it into] four parts, and use [it] just as is stated for the bite of a mad dog.

Take two handfuls of ash [and] one handful of crushed sulfur; mix [them] and place [them] into a copper vessel, pour upon it three *chʻarēkʻ*s of water, [and] boil it so much until half a *tʻung* remain; stir [it] frequently with a wooden spoon during the time of boiling, then strain the water [and] use [it] as has been told.
