*Daucus carota*, L[atin]. *Stepłin* (carrot), A[rmenian]. Drinking the squeezed juice of this in the morning on an empty stomach for a few days, half a cupful each time, will expel the roundworm; it is likewise beneficial to grate the yellow carrot and apply it three times a day upon a wound when it is inflamed and soiled. *Decoctum album Sydenhami*, L[atin]. Is a prepared medicine, whitish in color; by taking one spoonful every hour, it will bind the belly and check dysentery [passing stool with blood]. *Diosma crenata*, L[atin]. A kind of herb, very beneficial for those whose urine comes thinly, or [from] whose urinary passage pus discharges little by little; boil four to six *mskhal*s [of it] in water and drink it three times in one day. *Electuarium anthelminthicum*, L[atin]. A prepared medicine, compounded with honey; administer one teaspoonful every four hours to anyone possessing any kind of worms. *Elixir acidum Halleri*, L[atin]. This is a white medicine prepared from sulfuric acid; give ten drops three times a day with sufficient sugar-water; it will check excessive perspiration, frequent urges to urinate, and furthermore the dripping of semen from weakness of the loins. *Elixir aurantiorum compositum*, L[atin]. A prepared medicine; give fifteen drops to drink three times a day with sweetened water; it will digest food and is beneficial for stomach pain. *Elixir pectoralis*, L[atin]. This is a prepared medicine; drinking twenty drops at a time with water, three times a day, is beneficial against common cough and chest pain. *Emplastrum melilotium compositum*, L[atin]. Is a thick plaster; spread it upon a cloth, apply it upon a tumor, [and] it will disperse [it]. *Emplastrum melilotium simplex*, L[atin]. This is a green, firm plaster; it is beneficial against a boil (*chiban*, *dzirdzidai*); it will open the wound; it is also good for the swelling of a wound; it will draw out the pus. *Emplastrum cicutae*, L[atin].
