Blessed is God, remembered is God! The plowman at the plow-tail, ah, old father, with earrings in his ears! The plowboy is weeping; drive [them] on, ah, weeping plowboy, the middle [ox] is coming! Let us plow that [the yield] may increase, dear Tokan, that the master may rejoice! Give impetus, make wings, ah, plowshare and coulter, turn [the soil] over, make it black! Blessed is God, remembered is God! May you grow strong, plowboy; drive [them] on to the furrow’s end, may I be a sacrifice for you. Let us plow, let us make a field, dear Shekik, let us bring sorrow to Zar!
