Ա՜յ ճընճղիկ, Կարմիր տոտիկ, Սիպտակ փորիկ, Ուտեն կըտիկ, Խըմեն ջըրիկ, Առուի եզրիկ, Պըստիկ—մըստիկ, Փախչեն, երթան Ման գալու համար: Կոտ ու կէս գարի ունիմ ցանելու համար Տունը մէկ վեցկի տըւէք վարելու համար. Տունը մէկ մըշակ տըւէք ցանելու համար. Տունը մէկ մանկեռ տըւէք տափելու համա Տունը մէկ ջըրկալ տըւէք ջըրելու համար. Տունը մէկ մանգաղ տըւէք քաղելու համար Տունը մէկ հընձւոր տըւէք հընձելու համար Տունը մէկ մըշակ տըւէք կապելու համար. Տունը մէկ մըշակ տըւէք բարդելու համար. Տունը մէկ հաչակ տըւէք դիզելու համար. Red little foot,

[Let them] eat little grain,
Drink little water,
[At] the brook's little edge,
Tiny-weeny [ones],
[Let them] flee, go
To wander about.
I have a *kot* and a half of barley to sow;
Give one six-ox team from each house for plowing;
Give one laborer from each house for sowing;
Give one harrow from each house for leveling;
Give one water-master from each house for irrigating;
Give one sickle from each house for weeding;
Give one reaper from each house for reaping;
Give one laborer from each house for binding;
Give one laborer from each house for stacking;
