Blessed is the consubstantial, united, [and] indivisible Holy Trinity: Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit; now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Lord, how my persecutors have multiplied, and many have risen up against me. Many were saying of my soul: “There is no salvation for him in his God.” But you, Lord, are my helper, my glory, and the lifter up of my head. With my voice I cried out to the Lord, and he heard me from his holy mountain. I laid down and slept; I awoke, and the Lord is my upholder. I will not fear the myriad ranks of their hosts who surround, encompass, and besiege me. Arise, Lord, and save me, my God; for you have smitten all those who were my enemies without cause, and you will shatter the teeth of the sinners.
