Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, [so that] thy youth shall be renewed like [that of] the eagle. The Lord performeth mercies, and justice for all who are oppressed. The Lord showed His ways unto Moses, and His will unto the sons of Israel. Compassionate and merciful is the Lord, longsuffering and plenteous in mercy. Not unto the end will the Lord be angry with us, nor will He keep [His] grudge forever. Not according to our sins did the Lord deal with us, nor according to our iniquities did He recompense us. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so hath the Lord strengthened His mercy toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our iniquities from us. As a father hath compassion on his children, so shall the Lord have compassion on those who fear Him. For He knoweth our frame, and remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. The wind bloweth upon it, and it is not, and the place thereof shall be seen no more.
