Awake, sons of light, unto the blessing of the Father of light. Alleluia. Awake, redeemed by [His] blood, and give glory to the Redeemer. Alleluia. Awake, new peoples, taking up new songs to the Renewer. Alleluia. Awake, brides in the Spirit, awaiting the coming of the holy Bridegroom. Alleluia. Awake, burning with light according to the wise holy virgins. Alleluia. Awake, prepare as oil for [your] lamps fervent tears. Alleluia. Awake, and slumber not; [and] do not doze like the foolish virgins. Alleluia. Awake, let us prostrate and with tears say this: Alleluia.

Awake! Why do you sleep, O Lord? O Lord, do not cast us off forever. Arise, O Lord, help us; [and] we shall give glory to your name. Now and forever: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
