... [a] font for the cleansing of the sins of mankind; through the intercession of the twofold Forerunner, the greatest among those born [of women], the Baptist, [lead us] into the dwellings...

With a radiant voice from heaven, the consubstantial Father proclaimed You; the Spirit, descending in the form of a dove, rested upon You, [His] co-essential [One], [leading] those baptized by the same Spirit into adoption by the Father through faith. *[I yōtʿē]*

The darkness of sins was driven away; the light of knowledge dawned through You. The bite of the serpent was healed; our sickness was made whole, [O You who are] the Reviver of the dead and Giver of light to those in darkness; in the dwellings of Your Father.

Infinite Dawn from the Father, who chose from the world, as illuminators of the universe, the company of the chosen disciples: through the supplications of the apostles, [be] a trumpet of resurrection for us who have [departed], [bringing us] into the dwellings of Your Father of light.
