*Tʿ[iv]* (*Tʿiv* [numerical tone/refrain indication]): My Lord, manifold are the iniquities of my soul; I remembered not Thy dread judgments. Now, falling down, I beseech Thee: grant me repentance, Lord, and have mercy. *SŁ* (*Sałmos* [Psalm]): My iniquities have gone over my head, and as a heavy burden they have weighed heavy upon me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I remembered not Thy dread judgments; now, falling down, I beseech Thee: grant [me repentance]. *HX* (*Harcʿ* [“Fathers” *šarakan* hymn]): We offer entreaties unto Thee, Heavenly Father: disregard not our supplications, but turn away Thy wrath from us, and remember that we are the image of Thy goodness. *Tʿ[iv]*: My Lord, Thy compassions are exceedingly great; show forth Thy goodness unto me, as [Thou didst] also unto the tax collector, and have mercy upon me. *SŁ*: Thy compassions are manifold, Lord; and according to Thy judgments quicken me. Many are they that persecute and afflict me; [yet have I not declined] from [Thy] testimonies.
