Having gathered together, all of us, into the holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, let us beseech the Only-begotten Son of God, our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST, who descended with the glory of the Father into the midst of the furnace and delivered the three youths from the Chaldeans: may He keep our minds luminous and holy, so that we may never be deceived by sin and by the lust of the world, but rather that we may become worthy to keep His commandments [and] to receive upon ourselves the crown of light and of life, which He, the true God, JESUS CHRIST our Lord, promised to His beloved. Save [us] and have mercy.
