Praise is due to Thee, O God, Who art the resurrection, by Thy voice, of those who have fallen asleep from eternity. King and Ruler on high, we bless Thee.
At Thy second coming, O Christ, King of glory, at the sound of the trumpet the souls of those who have fallen asleep are renewed, and they rise from the dead in an incorruptible body.
Wherefore we also beseech Thee, heavenly Father: rank our departed [brethren] in Thy Jerusalem on high, in the assembly of the firstborn who are written in heaven.
