[Tone] 1 (ADz). Those who displayed the contest of martyrdom before the tyrants, and conquered through faith, became for us the cause of the threefold Light; by their supplications, save us. Those who repelled [and] drove away the darkness of idolatries, and erected for us a victorious sign against the enemy; by [their] sup[plications, save us]. And having waged war on earth with wondrous ascetic struggle, [and] ascended on high, they became fellow-singers with the heavenly choirs; by [their] sup[plications, save us].
