They sanctified themselves as a temple for your holy name, having purified their minds and their thoughts with your holy fear, and became companions to the rank of the spiritual heavenly watchful ones: we beseech [you]. Through the intercession of the Holy Mother of God and of John the Forerunner, of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr, and of the holy Apostles, Prophets, and Martyrs, and of Saint Gregory our Illuminator; through the intercession and prayers of the saints (N.), whose commemoration is this day, and of all your saints, O Lord, who were united in the love of your Godhead: remember the souls of our departed, and visit [them] at your coming: we beseech [you].
