And JESUS, departing thence, went into the regions of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanite woman, having come out from those borders, cried out and said, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon." But He did not give her an answer. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, "Dismiss her, for she cries out after us." He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But she came [and] worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me." He answered and said to her, "It is not good to take the children's bread and cast [it] to the dogs."
