RUBRIC: Prayer

Lord God of our salvation, who art merciful and compassionate, long-suffering, plenteous in mercy, and repentest over the evils of mankind; who desirest not the death of the sinner, but that he turn from [his] evil way and live: do Thou, Lord, through Thy bountiful mercy, comfort these Thy servants, and grant unto them a place of repentance. Be reconciled [unto them] through Thy love for mankind, and make them members of Thy holy Church; so that, having been healed in spirit through confession and repentance, they may enter into Thy holy Church, and with Thy people send up blessing and glory to Thee, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. [Amen.]

Give ear to my words, O Lord, and attend to my cry. Look unto the voice of my prayer, my King and my God. I beseech You, O Lord; in the morning
