The righteous shine in the kingdom, and the ascetics in [eternal] rest; the martyrs are crowned, and the lamps of the virgins burn. Rank among them, O Lord, those who confess you as God; let them not be judged in [strict] justice, but by your compassion let them be expiated. By your ineffable humility, who were buried in mortality and raised up from among the sons of men those who fell before you in faith: raise us also in righteousness, and the fallen asleep in mercy, that with the mouth of the living, glory may be given to you, with the Father [and] the Spirit.

May your cross be our refuge, Lord Jesus, when you appear in the glory of the Father upon the luminous clouds. At that time, may we who have hoped in you not be put to shame, but by your great power may we rejoice at your right hand as sons of light and sons of the day.
