[By] the virgin foremost mother Eve, from whom the old Adam incurred debt, the sorrowful curses were lifted through your holy birthgiving, O Virgin Mary; beseech your Only-Begotten to forgive the sins of their children. *In whom [we] were bl[essed]...* O Bride presented from earth unto heaven, toward which we lift up our souls unto you; in which, hearing your good tidings, ask that we may be made to hear the voice of the good tidings of your Only-Begotten: "Come, you blessed of my Father." *In whom we earthborn races were blessed, give blessing to the fruit of the Virgin!* With a voice we entreat you, O Lord, and we fall down before you; through the supplications of the Mother of God (*Astuacacin* [Bearer of God]), extinguish from us the flame of the furnace; grant [us] to wipe away [our] sins with tears, and to renew us once again. *In whom [we] were bl[essed]...* O skillful Helmsman, [who] passed traceless through the sea of this life, lift us up with Peter from the waves of this sea of sin, through the supplications of the supreme, undefiled one who bore you. *In whom we earthborn races were blessed, give blessing to the fruit of the Virgin!*
