Be reconciled with us, Lord, with compassion, and forgive [our] sins with mercy. O Dreadful One to the Seraphim and Awesome One to the Cherubim, You humbled Yourself unto sufferings in the passible nature of men; upon the Cross You slew sin and annulled the sentence of death. Be reconciled with us, Lord, with compassion, and forgive [our] sins with mercy. O Most Exalted above the natures of [created] beings and Creator of all, when the sign of Your cross shall dawn at Your Second Coming, illuminate with its light those who now worship [You] in faith, so that, in unison with the cross-robed [hosts], we may bless You unto eternity.

For the seventh day of Creation, and for the seventh age, and on the mystery of the Rest. [On] Saturday.

[Saturday.] The Lord, after the creation of creatures, rested on the seventh day from [His] works; He who is the rest of the weary, and [whose] will [is itself] deed.
