[THE] PROCLAMATION [Kʿaroz]:

Let us beseech Almighty God, that He may preserve His people in peace under the shadow of His holy and precious Cross. Almighty Lord our God, save [us] and have mercy.

RUBRIC: PRAYERS OF FASTING

Help us, O Lord; help us, O God our Savior, for the sake of the great glory of your name. O Lord, save us and forgive our sins for the sake of your holy name. Keep protected [and] in peace under the shadow of your holy and precious Cross your people who have taken refuge and put [their] hope in you. Save [us] from the visible and from the invisible enemy. Make [us] worthy with thanksgiving to glorify you, with the Father and with your Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
