[Clerks]: Before the sun, Your name is praised with the Father; at the dawning of the light of this morning, dawn upon our souls Your intelligible light.

Light proceeding from the Father, source of goodness, Holy Spirit of God; the children of the Church, along with the angels, praise You. At the dawning of the morning light, cause Your intelligible light to dawn in our souls.
