Զ առաւօտու աղօթս և զբանաւոր պաշ- տօնս՝ ընկա՛լ ամենակալ ամենամեծդ Աստուա՛ծ 'ի քո անապական և յերկնային խորանսդ : Ծագեա՛ առ մեզ զարդարութեան և զի- մաստութեան զլոյս քո . արա՛ զմեզ որդիս լուսոյ և որդիս տունջեան : Որպէս զի 'ի գալ աւուրս երկիւղածութեամբ վարեսցուք զկեանս մեր . և առանց գայթակղութեան կատարեսցուք : Զ ի դու ես օգնական և փըր- կիչ մեր . և քեզ վայել է փառք՝ իշխանու- թիւն և պատիւ . այժմ և միշտ և յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից . Ամէն :

Receive, Almighty and All-Great God, the morning prayers and the rational worship into your incorruptible and heavenly tabernacles. Shine upon us your light of righteousness and of wisdom; make us children of light and children of the day, so that in the coming day we may conduct our lives in piety and accomplish [them] without stumbling. For you are our helper and savior, and to you is fitting glory, dominion, and honor, now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

իբ . Տէր հովուեսցէ զիս . և ինձ ինչ ո՛չ պա- կասեսցի : 'Ի վայրի դալարւոջ անդ բնակեցոյց զիս . և առ ջուրս հանգստեան սնոյց զիս : Դարձոյց զանձն իմ առիս . և առաջնոր- դեաց ինձ 'ի ճանապարհս արդարութեան վասն անուան իւրոյ : Թէպէտ և գնացից ես 'ի մէջ ստուերաց մահու , ո՛չ երկեայց 'ի չարէ , զի դու Տէր ընդիս ես :

[Psalm] 22 (23). The Lord shall shepherd me, and nothing shall be lacking unto me. In a green pasture, there He made me dwell, and beside waters of rest He nourished me. He converted my soul [unto Himself], and guided me along paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I should walk in the midst of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil, for You, Lord, are with me.
