...[thou didst descend] that thou mightest raise thy beloved. Now, we also cry out and say: Blessed [art thou] who comest unto the passion by the will of the Father, for the salvation of our souls. When thou, the Life-giver, didst come to the tomb of Lazarus; when thou, the Life-giver, didst come to the tomb of Lazarus, with thy voice of good tidings thou didst cry out, saying: "Lazarus, arise, come forth!" And the dead man arose from the tomb; and thou thyself didst grant the gifts of immortality unto thy beloved, and with thy divine voice didst call [him] from the tomb. Wherefore the children of the Hebrews also, with branches, blessed thine immortal kingdom. With them we also say: "Hosanna! Blessed is thy coming; praise in the highest; blessed [art thou] that art to come in the name of the Lord."

Rejoice, Jerusalem, and adorn your bridal chamber, O Zion; for behold, your King, CHRIST, seated upon a new colt, demonstrating meekness, comes [and] enters into your bridal chamber. And we cry out: “Hosanna! Blessed is [He that] comes in the name of the Lord, who has great mercy.”
