Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who, through the prayers and intercession of Your much-afflicted martyr and our father, Saint Gregory the Illuminator, descended from heaven unto the plain of Ararat with great glory and a multitude of luminous hosts, to visit Your little flock, the Armenian nation, and to manifest Your singular love and great mercy; and with a golden hammer struck the depths of the abyss and drove away the legions of the netherworld; [and] where, through a luminous design, You miraculously fashioned our Mother See, Holy Ejmiacin, and made it an inexhaustible treasury of Your divine graces, to be the begetter, nurturer, and perfecter of all the churches of Armenia: Now, keep it immaculate, steadfast, and undimmed, unto the splendid adornment of our churches and of their children, until the end of the world; by whom Your all-holy name is ever glorified, unto the ages of ages. Amen.
