Grant peace to our life, O God, as [thou art] the lover of mankind.

[For the] Ascetics

Champions of Christ, who endured the torments of the lawless and abolished the error of the idols, [and are now] ranked among the angels in heaven; you who have boldness before Christ, intercede [with Him] to save our souls, we beseech you.

[OF THE] HṘIPʿSIMĒANKʿ [COMPANIONS OF SAINT HṘIPʿSIMĒ]

[Those] who dawned upon us from the West like the sun, and illuminated altogether this land of Armenia; they dispelled the darkness of the ignorance of idolatry, and enlightened every soul through the faith of the knowledge of God. Through their intercession, O Christ God, grant peace to Your world, and remission of sins to our souls, as [You are] the Lord who loves mankind.
