[FOR] ALL THE FEASTS OF SAINTS.

I loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer; because he inclined his ear unto me, and in my days I called upon him. The pangs of death encompassed me, and the sorrows of Hades found me. I found affliction and anguish, and I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul; our God is merciful, he shows mercy and the Lord preserves the simple. I was brought low, and the Lord saved me; return, O my soul, unto thy rest, for the Lord hath helped thee. He delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling; I shall be well-pleasing before the Lord in the land of the living. Glory [be to the] Father and to the Son [and to the Holy Spirit]. Now and always [and unto the ages of ages. Amen.]
