Christ, the King of glory, who for our sake became incarnate of the Holy Virgin and endured the cross: let us praise [Him] in song with one accord.
He who submitted to the three-day burial, having risen from the dead with authority: [let us praise Him] with one [accord].
Mightily He shattered the gates of hell, and clothed His Church with great majesty: [let us praise Him] with one [accord].
