Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall prayers be offered in Jerusalem. Hear my prayer, for unto you all flesh shall come. The words of the lawless have prevailed over us, and you shall expiate our impieties. Blessed is [he whom] you have chosen and received, and they shall dwell in your courts. We shall be filled with the goodness of your house; holy is your temple, wondrous in righteousness. Hear us, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of those who are far away at sea; who establishes the mountains by his strength, and is girded with might; who stirs up the vastness of the sea, and stills the roar of its waves. The nations shall be troubled, and the inhabitants of the earth shall fear at your signs. At the outgoings of the morning and the evening they shall rejoice; you visited the earth, watered it, and greatly enriched it. The river of God was filled with water; you prepared its grain, for such is [its] preparation. You watered its furrows, and multiplied its crops.
