And praise your God, O Zion: For he has strengthened the bars of your gates, and has blessed your children within you. He who set your borders in peace, [and] filled you with the finest of the wheat. He sends forth his word upon the earth; swiftly run his decrees. He lays down the snow like wool, and scattered the mist like dust. He casts down ice like morsels; before his cold who can stand? He sends forth his word and melts them; the winds shall blow, and the waters shall flow. He declares his word unto Jacob, his righteousness and his judgments unto Israel. The Lord has not dealt thus with all nations, and his judgments he has not revealed unto them.

Tuesday.

Lord, in your strength the king shall rejoice, [and] in your salvation he shall greatly exult. You gave him the desire of his heart, and the request of his lips you did not withhold from him. You anticipated him with the blessings of your sweetness, and you placed upon his head a crown of precious stone.
