And praise your God, O Zion. For he has strengthened the bars of your gates, and has blessed your children within you. He who established peace in your borders, [and] filled you with the finest of the wheat. He sends forth his word to the earth; swiftly run his decrees. He lays the snow like wool, and scatters the mist like dust. He casts down his ice like morsels; before his cold, who can stand? He sends forth his word and melts them; the winds shall blow, and the waters shall flow. He declares his word to Jacob, his righteousness and his judgments to Israel. The Lord has not dealt thus with every nation, and he has not revealed his judgments to them. [RUBRIC: Monday:] Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. [RUBRIC: Tuesday:] Lord, in your strength the king shall rejoice, [and] in your salvation he shall greatly exult. You granted him the desire of his heart, and did not withhold from him the request of his lips. You came before him with the blessing of your sweetness, and placed upon his head a crown of precious stone.
