Again, in peace let us beseech the Lord. Again, in faith let us beseech and ask of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ at this hour of service and prayer: that He make [us] worthy of acceptance; that the Lord hear the voice of our supplication, receive the petitions of our hearts, forgive our transgressions, [and] have mercy upon us. May our prayers and petitions enter at all times before His great Sovereignty; and may He grant us with one accord, with one faith and in righteousness, to labor in good works, so that the Lord Almighty may pour out upon us the grace of His mercy, save [us], and have mercy. That we may pass this hour and the forthcoming day in peace [and] in faith, let us ask of the Lord. An angel of peace, a guardian for our souls, let us ask of the Lord. The expiation and forgiveness of our transgressions, let us ask of the Lord. The great and mighty power of the Holy Cross for the help of our souls, let us [ask of the Lord].
