BLESSING OF THE TABLE FOR BODILY FOODS AND DRINKS

They prepare the table with bread and set [it] with food; and each stands in their place; and the dignitary or the priest comes and says [the] PSALM *kcʿurd* (refrain/antiphon response):

PSALM

The presiding officiant, or the priest:

The eyes of all hope in You, and You give them their food in [due] season.

RUBRIC: The clerk [says]:

I will exalt thee, my God and my King, and I will bless thy name forever and unto the ages of ages. Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name forever and unto the ages of ages. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and of his greatness there is no measure. Generations and generations shall praise thy works, and shall declare thy power. They shall speak of the magnificence of the glory of thy holiness, and shall recount thy wonders. They shall tell of the power of thy dread [majesty], and shall declare thy greatness.
