[... health] of soul and body; so that, partaking of these bodily necessities with religious modesty, we may become partakers of your imperishable goods and of your heavenly kingdom, along with all your saints. And with thanksgiving we shall glorify you, with the Father and the all-holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages. [Amen.] Our Father who art in heaven...

RUBRIC: And the one who blesses the table, standing erect, takes the bread and breaks [it] with the dignitaries who are foremost; or after that, he who is the preparer of the meal, and they [give it] to all; and he says: "Taste in peace"; and they [proceed] to the meal. But if they are monastics or hermits, one of the brethren shall sit in a higher place, and taking the divine Scriptures, shall read [them]; and all shall listen to the reading, partaking [of the meal] without murmuring. And if anyone seeks the resolution of any doubt, those who are able shall resolve [it]; and again they shall dine in silence, and not with shouting. And after rising from the table, they shall stand again in their places. And the Priest shall say:

The Priest: Lord Jesus, we have been filled with Your good things. Let us give thanks unto the Lord our God. The Clerk: The eyes of the Lord [are] upon those who fear Him, and upon those who hope in His mercy: To deliver their souls from death, and to nourish them in famine.
