Lord, Lord, strength of my salvation, shadow [over] my head in the day of battle. Deliver me not, Lord, to the desire of sinners; [as for] those who plotted against me, do not cast me down, lest they ever be exalted and their devices be accomplished. The end of their consummation—the toil of their own lips shall cover them. You shall cast upon them coals of fire, and You shall overthrow them; out of afflictions they shall not be able to survive. Let not the slanderer prosper upon the earth; his own evils shall hunt down the sinful man unto destruction. I have known that You, Lord, execute the judgment of the poor and the right of the needy. The righteous shall give thanks unto Your name, and the upright shall dwell before Your presence. Lord, I cried unto You, and hear me; attend to the voice of my prayers when I cry unto You. Let my prayer be set forth as incense before You, Lord; the lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice. Set, Lord, a guard for my mouth, and a strong door for my lips, lest [my heart] incline—
