BLESSING OF THE ASCENTS

I lifted up mine eyes unto the mountains, from whence shall come my help. My help shall come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, and he that keepeth thee shall not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord shall keep thee, and the Lord shall protect [thee] with his right hand. The sun shall not harm thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall keep thee from all evil; the Lord shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy coming in and thy going out, from this time forth and forevermore. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and [to the Holy Spirit]. Now and always, [and unto the ages of ages. Amen].
