Compassionate Father, caring provider, Creator of all creatures: receive the supplications of your servants at this evening hour, you who are abundant toward all with the gifts of your benevolence. Have mercy, Lord, upon all the world, and upon your holy Church; upon the sick, the afflicted, travelers, seafarers, confessors, penitents, and the souls of the departed. For you, Lord Almighty, know our needs and our necessities far more than that which we ask and understand. And to you, with the Son and the all-holy Spirit, befits glory, dominion, and honor, now and always and unto [the ages of ages. Amen].
