[Responsive] Psalm of Dismissal

He who dwells in the help of the Most High shall rest under the shadow of the God of heaven. He shall say to the Lord: “You are my protector, my refuge is God, and I hope in Him.” He shall deliver me from the snare of the hunter, and from the word of trouble. He shall receive you upon His shoulders; you shall hope under the shadow of His wings. His truth shall surround you like armor. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; Of the thing that walks in darkness, [nor] of the demon’s stumbling block at midday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; yet unto you nothing shall come near. Only with your eyes shall you look, and you shall see the recompense of the sinners; for You, Lord, are my hope. You have made the Most High your refuge; no evil shall reach you, and torment shall not draw near your dwelling.
