Depart from me, all you who work iniquity; The Lord has heard the voice of my weeping; the Lord has heard my prayer, and the Lord has accepted my supplication. May all my enemies be put to shame and greatly troubled; may they turn back, and be put to shame very quickly, and be troubled. How long, O Lord, wilt Thou forget me utterly? How long wilt Thou turn Thy face away from me? How long shall I keep counsel in my soul, and [have] grief in my heart [all] the days? How long shall [my] enemy be exalted over me? Look upon [me] and hear me, O Lord my God. Give light, O Lord, to my eyes, lest I ever sleep the sleep of death; Lest [my] enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” Or those who afflict me rejoice if I am shaken. I have trusted in Thy mercy, O Lord; My heart has rejoiced in Thy salvation; I will bless the Lord, my Benefactor. Preserve me, O my God, for I have trusted in Thee. I said to the Lord: “Thou art my Lord, and my good [things] are from Thee.” For Thy saints who are in Thy land, Thou hast made wondrous all my desire in them.
