Why then are you sorrowful, my soul, or why do you disquiet me? Hope in God; give thanks to Him; God is the savior of my countenance. O God, look to my help, and Lord, hasten to assist me. Let them be ashamed and confounded who sought my soul. Let them be turned back and put to shame who plotted evil against me. Let them immediately be turned back in shame, who said to me: "Aha, aha!" Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You, Lord. Let those who love Your salvation say at all times: "God is great!" I am poor and destitute; O God, help me. You are my helper and my deliverer; and You, my Lord, do not tarry. Give strength to Your servant; save the son of Your handmaid, and show a sign of goodness toward me. Let those who hate me see and be ashamed, for You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
