Hear, O Lord, my voice, for I have cried out unto You; have mercy upon me and hear me, for my heart spoke to You; and my face sought [You], Your face, O Lord, have they sought. Turn not Your face away from me, and decline not in anger from Your servant. Be my helper, O Lord; do not despise me, and do not forsake me, O God my Savior. My father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord has received me. Instruct me, O Lord, in Your way, and lead me in Your straight paths. Because of my enemies, deliver me not into the hands of those who afflict me. False witnesses have risen up against me, and they have lied [concerning me] in their iniquity. I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord, and take courage; let your heart be strengthened, and wait for the Lord. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
