...who have strayed from your commandments. Take away from me reproach and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies. For princes sat and spoke evil against me; but your servant meditated on your statutes. For your testimonies were my speech, and my counsel was your righteousness. My soul has cleaved to the dust; Lord, grant me life according to your word. I declared my ways to you, and you heard me; teach me your righteousness. Make me understand the way of your righteousness, and I will examine your wondrous works. My soul grew weary from grief; strengthen me in your words. Remove from me the way of sin, and have mercy on me through your law. I have chosen the way of your truth, and I have not forgotten your judgments. I have cleaved to your testimonies, Lord; do not put me to shame. I ran the path of your commandments, for you have enlarged my heart. Instruct me in the law, Lord, in the way of your statutes, and I will seek it at all times.
