All your commandments are true; they persecuted me falsely, help me. They had almost destroyed me on earth, but I did not forsake your commandments. According to your mercy give me life, and I shall keep the testimonies of your mouth. Forever, Lord, your word endures in heaven; from generation to generation is your truth. You established the earth, and it stands firm. By your ordinance the day endures, for all things are your servants. If your law had not been my meditation, I should indeed have perished long ago in my humiliation. I will never forget your righteousness, for by it you have given me life.
