[...your] statutes forever, for the sake of recompense. I hated the lawless, and I loved your law. You are my helper and my savior, and I have hoped in your words. Depart from me, you evildoers, and I will search out the commandments of my God. Help me according to your word, and preserve me, and put me not to shame concerning my hope. Help me, and save me, and I will meditate on your judgments at all times. You have set at naught all those who rebelled against your righteousness, for their thoughts were in iniquity. I counted as transgressors all the sinners of the earth; therefore I loved your commandments. Pierce my flesh with your fear, for I greatly fear your judgments. I have executed justice and righteousness; do not deliver me into the hands of my oppressors. Receive your servant for good, lest the proud oppress me with insolence. My eyes have waited for your salvation, Lord, and for the words of your righteousness. Deal with your servant, Lord, according to your mercy; teach me your statutes.
