[...altar of] sacrifice, for through you we were saved from the biting and incorporeal beast; and the drops of incorrupt blood poured out upon you wiped away the sin of the one bent [by the curse]. The children of the holy Church bless you.

[Monday]: Heavenly chosen flock, whom the Good Shepherd left behind in the heavens and came in search of us, the lost; by which, having completed the count of the hundred, He made joy in heaven for the heavenly hosts; we beseech you, intercede before the Lord for the expiation of our sins.

[O] beholders of the Invisible [One], contemplators of the depths of God, who, having descended with the Only-begotten to minister unto the Economy [of salvation], [who were] heralds of good tidings to the shepherds at [His] Nativity, and to the myrrh-bearing women preachers of the life of the Living [One]: we beseech you, be intercessors before the Lord for the expiation of our sins.
