[...O altar of] sacrifice! For through you yourself we were saved from the biting and bodiless beast; and the drops of incorruptible blood poured out upon you wiped away the sins of the rib-born [one]. The children of the holy Church bless you.

OF MONDAY

[RUBRIC: Monday.] Chosen heavenly flock, which the Good Shepherd left behind in heaven, and having come in search of us who were lost, through which, having completed the number of Your hundred, He caused joy in heaven among the heavenly ones: we beseech you, be intercessors before the Lord for the expiation of our sins.

[O] beholders of the Invisible [One], contemplators of the depths of God, who, having descended with the Only-begotten to minister unto the Economy [of salvation], [who were] heralds of good tidings to the shepherds at [His] Nativity, and to the myrrh-bearing women preachers of the life of the Living [One]: we beseech you, be intercessors before the Lord for the expiation of our sins.
