I lifted up my hands to Your commandments, which I loved, and I meditated upon Your righteousness. Remember the word to Your servant, in which You gave me hope. May this comfort me in my humiliation, for Your word has quickened me. The proud acted very unjustly toward me, yet I did not turn aside from Your law. I remembered Your judgments from of old, O Lord, and I was comforted. Sorrow took hold of me because of the sinners, and [because of] those who forsook Your law. Your statutes were praiseworthy to me in the place of my pilgrimage. I remembered Your name in the night, O Lord, and I kept Your law. This became for me the path unto life, for I sought Your righteousness. I hated the lawless, and I loved Your law. You are my helper and my savior, and I hoped in Your words. Depart from me, [you] evildoers, and I will search out the commandments of my God. Help me according to Your word, and quicken me; and do not put me to shame in my hope. Help me, and save me; and [I] will meditate—
