INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DIACONATE AND THE CANTORATE OF THE *PATARAG* [DIVINE LITURGY]

RUBRIC: The Priest takes two deacons and enters the sanctuary, and they say the PSALM:

*Kcʿurd* (refrain): Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy with rejoicing. *Pʿox* (verse): Lord, remember David and all his meekness. RUBRIC: And the Priest says twelve [times] *Lord, have mercy* (*Tēr ołormea*); and then the Prayer. And the Deacon takes the helmet (*saławart*) and says:

Again in peace let us beseech the Lord. Receive, save, and have mercy. Blessing and glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

RUBRIC: Likewise, [the prayers] for the *šapik* (alb/tunic), the *owrar* (stole), the *gōti* (cincture/girdle), the *bazpan* (maniple/cuff), [and] the *šowrǰaṙ* (cope/chasuble) are said.
